Apartment Narmada is actually a self-catering 1 bedroom studio and 2 bedroom apartments. Each bedroom is equipped with king/size beds, air conditioning, ceiling fans, and etc. Besides, there is a living room too with a sofa and LCD TV – with satellite channels. It also has a dining table that can accommodate at least 6 persons. Apart from this, in the entire apartment, there is a free Wi-Fi service for the guest. Now you can chat, or do work, on the internet and stay connected with your loved ones all day, day-to-day. Furthermore, the management of Apartment Narmada has provided extra bed sheets and towels too; they took proper care for the hygiene, so that their guest can have the best experience.
Other than that, for outdoor entertainment, you don’t have to struggle or ponder that much. Since, they’ve their own restaurant on the ground floor that is second to none; from Japanese food to Chinese food or spicy foods, it offers everything. In addition, the restaurant also greets some famous local musicians and other entertainments. If you’re a person who loves to relish a tad extra on his vacations, you can enjoy gym-facilities, spa, and massage services too; all you’ve to do is to pay a tad extra, and they’ll handle the rest.
On the whole, it would be right to say that “Apartment Narmada” has spent thousands of dollars on decoration, but selling its services for mere pennies.
One bedroom apartment
Each one bedroom apartment has an air-conditioned bedroom with double bed, a comfortable living / dining room with among others a sofa and a television. The living room comes out on a spacious balcony where one can have leisurely the breakfast. The kitchen is fully equipped with a freeze, dining set, cooking facility and all utensils.
Two bedroom apartment
Each two bedroom apartment has two air-conditioned bedrooms and the same interior as the one bedroom apartments.
Bed linen, towels and kitchen towels will be provided. The bath towels and the kitchen towels will be changed every day, while the bed linen will be changed twice a week. The bathroom is equipped with a washing table, douche and WC. Cleaning is every day (except for on Sundays and public holidays). Against a reasonable fee one can have additional linen or laundry service.
At Apartment Narmada there is also the possibility to phone, free internet access (for those with a laptop) at the restaurant.
Food & Entertainment
The restaurant is on the ground floor for the Bed and Breakfast and Half Board clients.
The restaurant is also the location for other entertainments like barbecue, Japanese fondue, local musicians and other entertainments.
At the reception which will be open from 09h00 till 18h00 one can send faxes and mails. Outside the swimming pool will be at your entire disposal with it’s stretchers and parasols alongside.
Against a reasonable fee we have at your disposal a spa equipped with a Jacuzzi, hammam and exercise machines. For those who like to enjoy the wellness of a massage, this is also possible against reasonable payment.
The Region - Grand Bay
Grand Bay, the main tourist village of Mauritius is the one "must see" beach village. With its numerous villas, self catering apartment, hotels and bars, specialist cuisine restaurants and snacks, fashion boutiques etc as well as a host of tropical resort amenities such as big game fishing, outer-islands trips, under-water walking etc, Grand Bay is indeed a very popular attraction and a must for visitors. At night, Grand Bay becomes truly alive and activity does not die down under the early hours of the morning. Only a couple of kms further north along the coast lies the village of Pereybere with its very popular public beach. The beach itself is as good if not better than Grand Bay and seems to attract a larger proportion of the younger generation.
Grand Bay is also known for its night-life as it hosts most of the island best bars and night-clubs, including Banana Café, Zanzibar, Les Enfants Terribles and the famous Buddha Bar. For the night owls, the Grand Bay night clubs are the place to be, where parties pick up, generally at around midnight and parties last till the early morning hours.
