The beach is located at 50 meters across the coastal road in front of the complex. From there you can walk on white sandy beaches to central PEREYBERE or further north to CAP MALHEUREUX. Piment Rouge bungalow is a semi-detached house situated in 8400 square meters of beautiful tropical garden to which the property has direct access from the ground floor terrace. It takes 10 minutes to reach GRAND-BAIE and its shopping malls, water-sport facilities, banks, restaurants, casino and discotheques. As from 1 p.m. fresh fish can usually be purchased on the beach in front of Piment Rouge and at 4.30 P.M when the fishing boats return to shore there is a lively small fish market in Grand Bay.. Piment Rouge has been completely renovated in 2008 and covers 130 square meters. A dedicated and meticulous housekeeper and a good cook will be present Monday to Saturday mornings to see to your comfort. She works 9.30 a.m to 13.30 p.m. The cook ALSO attends the same hours and she will prepare your lunch at mid-day or your dinner in advance. (Both do not work on public holidays). The cook is available to accompany you and assist you in buying your groceries and local fruits and vegetables. In accordance with the Management’s INSTRUCTIONS neither the housekeeper nor the maid will do your purchases themselves. We kindly request that you refrain to ask them to do so. Their service is included in the price. As a token of your appreciation a discretionary gratuity to them would be welcomed on departure. Getting There - Driving in Mauritius can be challenging at any time, but more so, the first time around!! Therefore, it is wise to book and airport transfer with us especially after a long and tiring flight.
