Accommdoation
140 standard rooms
The 140 standard rooms are composed of either a king size
bed (2m x 2m) or twin beds. Amenities available for your comfort
are: mini-bar, television ( 3 local channels and 5 satellite
channels), direct telephone line, safe, bathroom with bathtub,
hairdryer and separate toilet.
- 74 rooms have a garden view with a terrace or balcony fully
furnished. Some of them are communicating
- 66 are seafront and an additional bed can also be provided
for a child less than 12 years old.
112 privilege rooms:
The 112 privilege rooms have a surface area of 32 m².
They are all sea front and have a terrace or balcony with
furniture. Some of them are communicating. An additional bed
can also be provided for a child less than 12 years old.
26 Family rooms:
The 26 Family rooms recently built, consist of two communicating
rooms. With a surface area of 52 m² can accommodate 2
adults and two children less 12 years old. Both rooms have
a terrace or a balcony.
Children are free of charge on half board basis.
6 suites and 14 family suites:
The 6 suites and 14 family suites are 80 m². All suites
are sea oriented with a terrace or balcony fully furnished.
A relaxation corner is also available.
Equipped with 2 television sets, 2 minibars, a safe and 2
telephone sets. In addition a separate shower is available
in the bathroom.
Bars and Restaurants:
Ambre hotel provides its clientele with 4 restaurants. Each
one proposes a specific cuisine and ambiance. Half board guests
can eat in any of them during their stay upon prior booking
with the menu formula without supplement.
L’Etoile
des Indes
It is the main restaurant of the hotel and proposes you the
buffet formula
Opened from 7.00 to 10.00 am for an international buffet breakfast
and for dinner from 19h00 to 22h00with a different buffet
every night: Mauritian, Indian, Chinese, Creole, Oriental,
European etc…

integrated in the main hotels of the Apavou group under the
name ‘Dolphin Spa’.
Built on a surface area of 600 m², the spa centre of
Ambre hotel provides you with different personalized treatments,
based on traditional Indian and Chinese medicine philosophy
which considers the body in its energetic and physical form.
This philosophy takes into consideration the 5 elements (wood,
fire, earth, metal and water) and the Yin and Yang principles.
